【Osaka Cafe】Butter-blended coffee from Shinsaibashi’s hideaway cafe “Danke” and another dish

I learned that there is only one cafe in Osaka near Uniqlo in Shinsaibashi, which is like a hideaway where you can drink “butter blend coffee”.

About “Dunke” and “Butter Blend Coffee”

“Danke” is a coffee shop affiliated with “Mikage Danke”, which was founded in 1977 (Showa 52) in Mikage, Kobe.

The best feature of “Dunke” is that it offers butter-blended coffee . What is this unfamiliar “butter-blended coffee”? When I thought about it, I heard that it is coffee made by soaking coffee with butter when roasting.

The shop has a calm interior based on wood, and although it is a coffee shop, it has a bar-like atmosphere. It was also impressive to see a counter made of a fine single plate of Yoshino cedar, which is over 200 years old, and more than 100 types of cups and saucers.

Location and appearance

The location is on the second floor of the Sunny Side Place Building, which is about a 30-second walk from Shinsaibashi Uniqlo.

I wore light pink clothes on that day, but I wondered if he matched it with me, and he gave me a cute cup with a small flower pattern from among the many cups.

The moment I took a sip, it had a strong and elegant bitterness, but soon after that, the mellow sweetness like caramel spread exponentially and fluffy, and the change in taste was impressive (*). ´ω ｀ *)

And since it was lunch time on that day, I ordered a unique dish of Danke, pork shabu-shabu sandwich (850 yen).

I thought, “Pig shabu-shabu sandwich !?”, but this is a mastoito!

The crispy toast is accented with pork shabu-shabu, lettuce, and perilla, making it refreshing and delicious!

You can get protein and two birds with one stone ☆

The next time I came, it was cafe time, so I ordered butter blend coffee and cake.

This day was Wedgewood’s Wild Berry! What kind of cup coffee comes in is one of the pleasures of Danke (*’ω’ *)

I’m happy that I can drink “butter blend coffee” unique to Danke and the food is delicious in such a good location and in a nice atmosphere ~ (‘v`)
